Question about Distilled water

Post by jabman » Wed Jan 26, 2011 12:21 pm

Ok, My house is 150 years old and my basement is more like a cellar and gets cold. We had sub zero temps here last week and things froze in my basement/cellar including my stock pile of distilled water. My question is (and this might be a dumb one) will the water still be distilled after thawing it out?

Interesting question.... I can't see any reason why it would not be distilled water any longer - nothing changed except it froze and thawed.

Cheers,
xena

You may need to add water to Freeze Dried Distilled water, just make sure to ONLY add Distilled Water to your Freeze Dried Water. Jim

LOL Jim!

As long as the bottles were closed, you should be fine.

If the bottles cracked open from freezing, then I guess it would depend on how "picky" you are. I suppose it is possible that if the bottle were cracked that "something" could get into it. Personally, as long as the bottle was clean, I'd probably still use it.

IF the bottles cracked I would use those in my car radiator ant-freeze.
