Hello! I have a nasal mask and like it ok, but lately I wake up all stuffed up and can't breathe. I have a heating pad that heats up my humidifier. I am taking allergy medicane, and even had to use nasal spray to open my nose passages before putting the mask back on in the middle of the night. HELP!

congestion
Hi Ho, Hi Ho, It's off to sleep I go......
1. If you haven't done so - clear your filters and consider adding a disposable filter.
2. If you haven't done so - clean your equipment thoroughly
3. Try raising or lowering the humidification.

Re: congestion
You might want to try Breathe Right Nasal Strips. They helped with congestion and when I first started therapy.

ALL the above suggestions are excellent.
I especially like the saline flush for the sinuses....and that is a FLUSH, not a dainty little spritz. I do that twice a day.
Now AFTER all that, IF you still have problems, see an ENT about the congestion. A sleep doc is NOT an ENT and does't know noses.
I firmly believe, if your nose doesn't work, CPAP won't work. To me it was enough of a priorty that I went through surgery and I am extremely glad I did.
