nose prong mask

Post by slacker361 » Wed Jul 27, 2011 3:44 pm

I ordered a nose prong mask the other week and when I tested it in the after noon it was good, that night when I put it on it sounded like a jet airplane, very very noisy, are there any quiet nose prong masks?

are you talking about a Nasal Aire II or something like it? Or are you talking about something like a Swift FX/LT (which is actually a nasal pillow mask)?

Be sure that you don't have your mouth open when you are wearing the mask. That makes the the CPAP noisy and useless.

Thanks for that , but no I use a chin strap..... it is the exausht port that is just as noisy as a jet and it is just the one port no the other ....
