Intellipap Codes
Intellipap Codes
I'm getting error messages with the codes provided by the machine cpap...only the 1 day code goes right, all the others are with errors. I'm using it for more than one week, but I didn't use it for seven days yet. Would this be the problem?
Re: Intellipap Codes
It may be.... are you using the web tool at cpap.com or the DeVilbiss site? On the DeVilbiss site, you must put the code into the 7 day slot. https://www.intellipap.com/default.aspx And be sure you use the appropriate tab for your machine.... DV54, I presume.
I do like the convenience of the codes, but you will get far more detailed information via the Smart Link software. Consider purchasing that if and when you can.

Yes, that blue eyed beauty is my cat! He is a seal point, bi-color Ragdoll. I adopted him in '08 from folks who could no longer care for him. He is a joy and makes me smile each and every day.

Hi Emilia, only now I figured that the Smartlink is a hardware module, I thought it was only the software. So, do you think it worths to pay about $100 for it?
Re: Intellipap Codes
Absolutely! With the software you will be able to see your minute by minute therapy from overnight. It is extremely helpful to know the detailed progress you are making and to be able to pinpoint issues that need to be addressed. The software package comes with the software CD, a module that is attached to the back of the machine, an SD card that is inserted into the module to collect the data, a card reader (if needed) to attach to your computer to upload the SD card data collected, and cables. All that for about $140, and DeVilbiss provides free updates to the software automatically (unless it is a total version update i.e. 1.0 to 2.0) as well as free firmware updates when they are issued.

Re: Intellipap Codes
I think that the Smart Link hardware/software are well worth the money. It allows you to see what is going on at night and make some changes and then see what works well for you. For myself I went from a cpap pressure of 9cm to and apap range of 8.5cm to 15 cm, this reduced my daily average AHI from 6.2 to below 2.3. It appears that I have positional apnea that the straight titrated pressure was not taking care of. While I haven't checked the smart codes that often, because I have SmartLink, The AHI and other data that is displayed on the machine is sometimes way off and scrambled. where the data from the sd card is good. So if you are having some problems, the SmartLink is an invaluable tool to find out what is going on.
