Post by jobe2433 » Sat Sep 10, 2011 11:09 am

hello I have come down with a pretty bad sinus infection. Should I still be sleeping with my humidifier on?

give it a try with the humidifier higher than normal... but not high enough for rainout.

You can always turn it down or off if it doesn't work for you.

Yes.
Maybe even add a bit more humidity. Remember steam and how a hot shower helps loosen the gunk in the sinuses?
Same principle.
Also might try doing the neti pot nasal rinse thing.
Also frequently use some simple saline nasal spray during the day. Moisture is your friend to help expel the gunk. Dryness isn't your friend.

See your GP for antibiotics. It cleared me right up. Also I am a strong believer frequent user of the nasal rinse.

If you are not using AYR nose gel start using it.
