Re: nose cracks
No, the humidity makes my nose even less dry than usual.

Welcome to the forum!
To help us help you best, could you please register & under the User Control Panel put the name of your machine, humidifier & mask. That way we know what you are using and those of us with experience in those masks/machines/problems can best help you. You will find a wealth of knowledge on this forum. I've been on CPAP 12 yrs and found this forum in October - I have learned more here about my therapy since October than I knew in the whole 12 yrs before then.
As for those 'nose cracks' I assume you have a nasal pillows mask. What most here recommend is Laniosh ointment/cream. It is found in the baby section of most stores like WalMart & Target. It is a nipple cream for nursing mothers. Put a little on, some folks use a qtip to apply, and this should help heal the crack and if you are using a nasal pillow mask, will help with the seal as well.
Again, welcome & once you have registered, more members with suggestions may be able to help,
Jen
ps - please excuse my typos, had set of nails put on for xmas & need them cut - you could say my claws need sharpening
