Found the instructions at the web site but still haven't much luck getting it to work. Is there a video somewhere by someone who has down this routine? Thanks

Can you describe the problem you are having?
Not working doesn't leave much to work on.
Search for "BiPap S/T You Tube" There are several there. Perhaps one of them will help.

without telling us *which* bipap st you have, (like, the REF number off the serial number sticker) we can't do anymore than guess what the problem is.Blue Truck wrote:Found the instructions at the web site but still haven't much luck getting it to work. Re: Phillips Respironics BiPap S/T Instructions
It is a Respironics BiPap S?T Remstar heated humidifier. model 1014248. Serial number 4693836. It has 6 buttons on top. Left side: HEAT & RAMP. On the right
side: RESET & SILENCE. It has two buttons in the middle that changes the menu in the screen. One menu says: LIGHT CARD and the number 52.4. The second menu just says LIGHT and a 1. The third screen is: RAMP START and 10.0 cm H2O. The last screen says: 6 and RISE TIME. If someone can interpret this it will be greatly appreciated. It has been ages since I've had a good nights sleep.

Re: Phillips Respironics BiPap S/T Instructions
Is your machine the light grey or dark grey model?
Light grey is the older...
Respironics BiPAP ST (older pre-2004 version)
and darker gray is
Respironics BiPAP ST (grey-colored, 2005-2008 version)
and you can request the provider/clinical manual for it from this link
http://www.apneaboard.com/adjust-cpap-p ... tup-manual
which should answer some of your questions.
It's a really old machine and not many here will be familiar with it.

Re: Phillips Respironics BiPap S/T Instructions
pugsy:
I ran across a 2006 catalog from Philips-Respironics that illustrates this model.
http://www.respironics.com/PDF/Homecare ... og2006.pdf
Although it is light gray in the illustration, it corresponds to the OP's model number (model 1014248).
I suspect that his is the 2005-2008 machine.
Even so, it is really old.
