Can someone help me open apnealink plus study files?
Can someone help me open apnealink plus study files?
I've had really poor sleep for the last year, so decided to go for a home sleep test from 1800cpap. I got them to provide me the raw data files from the Apnealink Plus, so I could look at them myself and perhaps have someone here analyze it as well. I have no idea how to view them though. They sent me a .OSA file, which was really an archive containing .DAT and .FF2 files. Anyone have an idea?

Without the correct software or a file structure of the files you may be out of luck.

Keep checking back; someone may have the key.
Also check your PM's in case somebody wants to help offline.
Lots of smart people here, I've been told I'm not one of them.

The real smart ones admit when they don't know. I know there is an awful lot of people on here who know way more than I, so where does that leave me?!chunkyfrog wrote: Lots of smart people here, I've been told I'm not one of them.

In a good place; those who are given more, have more expected of them.
I admire the gurus here, but I could never handle the pressure.

Upload it to a third party server (Dropbox, Google Docs, etc.) and I can review it for you.kevint wrote:I've had really poor sleep for the last year, so decided to go for a home sleep test from 1800cpap. Did they send you a report?

Thank you very much for offering to review it. I haven't received a report yet, only the files. I've uploaded the file: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-5Mce ... sp=sharing. As I mentioned above, it's an archive, so the files inside can be extracted by a program like winzip, rar, etc.

Re: Can someone help me open apnealink plus study files?
Thanks again. It seems to me I probably don't need to get treatment for apnea because I'm rarely in a low oxygenation state. The apnea events may simply have been times when I held my breath for a little because I was frustrated with the tubes blocking up my nose. But I'm not really sure because I'm still relatively new to all this. Any advice is welcome.

Let's see what their interpretation is, then we can go from there.kevint wrote:Any advice is welcome.
