flow limitation charts look like tongue base level obstruction, most likely during REM sleep. what's your Mallampati Score?

I have yet to see an ENT if they are what give the score? ENT Referral seems to be taking its time. I have no clue how to find it myself if not. Only searched what it is on google

you can do it based on online instruction: keep tongue inside mouth and head straight up.

1. timing of the FL clusters
2. the PAP pressures were high and soft palate (due to it's anatomy/shape) usually respond well to PAP treatment. Tongue, more like a muscle ball when relaxed as opposed to a flat muscle sheet, doesn't respond that well to higher PAP pressure.
3. I have tongue base (tongue/lingal tongsil, epiglottis) obstruction, and my flow limitations look exactly like his...

Yeah, I'm not seeing where there is an FL/REM relationship. Can you point it out?musculus wrote: ↑Wed May 28, 2025 6:18 am1. timing of the FL clusters

Also, do you have any documentation in re: your theory of obstruction sites in OSA as a predictor for effective pressures?
TIA.
