My sleep isn't all it should be and I would like to try one of those
eye mask that block out any stray light. But using a full face mask
and the eye mask might prove to be just a little hard. Has anyone
here done this if so any tips to pass on ?

Re: Eye Mask with cpap
I use an eye mask with my Quattro FX and AirFit F10 (they don't have forehead pieces). I bought mine from Walgreen's and it works very well. Make sure you buy one that has molded eye cups to keep the mask from touching your eyes. I wear mine over the headgear, so I loosen the eye mask strap accordingly. Wearing the strap over my ears keeps the eye mask low on the cpap mask nose bridge to keep the light out.

My bro also gets his sleep masks from Walgreens and uses one over his eyes and the other to hold his mask on better (he has a beard and it helps with the seal). They are about $8. You can machine wash them in a lingerie bag. If they start to separate, as they do with a lot of use, I just zig zag over the edges and it lasts another 6 or 7 months.

Not what you are expecting:Woody wrote:My sleep isn't all it should be
Here is something that I believe every CPAPer should do -->
- Practice good sleep hygiene (Google it and read several sources)
- Eat a good diet
- Have a regular, moderate exercise program
- Practice total abstinence of caffeine including sources like chocolate
- Review all medicines, vitamins and supplements you are taking to make sure none are interfering with sleep
- Optimize emotional stress in your life
- Use CPAP software to make sure your therapy is optimized (Ask forum members for help downloading free software. They will need to know the model number of your machine.)
