Padacheek mask liner and cleaning?

So, i finally opened up the mouth/nose hole in my padacheek mask liner and it works much much better for me. How often do i need to clean the liner and mask now? How should i clean the liner--washing machine? Does mask need to be cleaned since i have a liner? Thanks.

I've only had my liner 2 weeks. The first week, I washed it by hand at the end of a week and air dried it. But every day I used a baby wipe on the mask and ran it over the pad a cheek liner to freshen it up.
This week, I pre soaked the liner in Woolite, and put it in a laundry bag for delicates, and it's in the wash machine right now. I also wash the whole headgear and mask once a week.

I can't find anything on the padacheek website. I am trying to find out, how often should I clean my mask, when I am using the liner. Sounds like I should wash the liner about once per week. But not sure when to wash/clean my mask now that I am using the padacheek liner.

How often did you wash it before you had the liner?
I figured, I had to take the mask apart to get the pad a check off to wash it weekly. So that's when it is convenient to soap and water wash the entire mask, since it is already disassembled.
I can wipe it down daily with baby wipes while it is still assembled, which is much faster.
I'm starting to think a lot of the cleaning schedule can be personal preference.

I washed the mask every day before the liner, mostly the area where the silicon seal was to get rid of the oils and skin cells.

thanks for your description about wiping the mask down still assembled. do you wipe it down with the liner still on the mask? do you stick the baby wipe inside the mouth/nose hole of the liner to clean off the inner surface of the mask (assuming the liner is still on the mask)? Thanks.

Cleaning frequency may depend on your skin type, how much you sweat, how often you wash, or what feels good.
Washing the liner with whatever you use on your mask or face makes sense.

Blake- I wipe it with baby wipes while the mask liner is still on the mask. I try to get in all the nooks and crannies the best I can. The mask liner gets damp from the baby wipe, but dries just fine. I stick the wipe inside the nose piece as far as I can get it. Just do the best you can trying to reach every surface.
I wrap the baby wipe around my finger and just rub it around as best I can. That fresheners it up on a daily basis. It only takes 30 seconds.

I'm only going to disassembly it weekly for hard core cleaning. Which takes a lot longer.

I can go about 3-4 days between washings of my pad-a-cheek liners....

The frequency of cleaning depends on facial oils, weather (hot humid nights), drool factor, etc... I hand wash them in the bathroom sink with some unscented soap or shampoo.

Pad-a-cheek liners can be washed in the washing machine... but be careful of too much fuzz getting into the Velcro parts.

I have 2 pad-a-cheek liners in rotation... one is in use and the other is clean and ready for use. My liners typically last me about 11-12 months before they get frayed and need replacement.

I do a wipe of my mask cushion every day

this process has worked for me for close to 3 years now
