pressure in eyes when bending down

Post by davep700 » Tue Mar 15, 2016 9:32 am

In the last few months I've been noticing some unpleasant pressure in my eyes I bend over to pick up something off the floor. I don't have any health problems that i know of so far that could cause this . My last blood tests were fine. Is it related to sleep apnea?

Even if it is related, you must see your doctor. You may have other medical problem such as high blood pressure, and glaucoma has been associated with apnea as well. We are not doctors and even if someone here has experienced similar symptoms and gotten some diagnosis, it does not mean you will get the same diagnosis at all - everyone's different - and you should get in touch with your own doctor asap. The symptom is not particularly related to Cpap.

OK. I will see my PCP and an opthamologist.

I didn't suggest that CPAP might raise eye pressure, but that is an interesting idea. The only other thing I've noticed is that in the last few years is that I get discharge from the corner of my right eye when I blow my nose.

Chicago Granny suggested I get scoped by an ENT but I'm too anxious about such a test. May have to consider it some more.

See the doctor. This should not be ignored.
