trying out nasal pillow mask (hybrid)
trying out nasal pillow mask (hybrid)
Going to try again tomorrow, each time I have tried so far, the airflow feels like it is concentrated and needs to be reduced. My full face mask has a setting of 6.0 to 10.0 and does feel like it is too high. Anyone have the same thing happen to them? Thanks.
Re: trying out nasal pillow mask (hybrid)
mine's 18/13, with a pillow mask, so I can't help ya there, sorry.

Yes, kenes. When I switched to pillows from FFM, it seemed like it was a big increase in pressure. Overtime, that sensation went away. I did find, however, that I could reduce the pressure somewhat while using pillows and maintain the same effectiveness as a slightly higher pressure with a FFM

I have a pressure of 11/15 with my FF mask ....no problems. Pressure of 6 is very low.....even 10 is closer to the average.

As you can see, we got used to the pressure rather quickly.
You will too.
It is easier with a good seal, so be sure you have the right size.
I have used a thin coating of Lansinoh just inside my nostrils as a "gasket sealer"
