Humidifier blue light.. why?

Post by AnnaS » Mon Jun 06, 2016 8:31 am

All,

For the past 2-3 days I have been noticing that my humidifier is not heating even though the heat setting in the machine is on. The light remains blue and I get cold air blown at me. It used to work fine to where the light would be yellow and I have not made any changes to the setting so am curious if the humidifier has broken or something.

My mouth is only slightly dry so not a major source of discomfort. But still, I did like the warm air better than the cool air blowing through!

My ramp up period is 15 minutes.

Please advise,

Thanks
Annas

DME. What does that mean? Forgive my ignorance.

Durable Medical Equipment.

It's also what we call the companies that sell DME.

Two year warranty. The local place that sold you the cpap is contracted to handle warranty service,
And they should also supply you with a loaner;-- it is what they were paid for.
Mail Order is different; you get the best initial price, but you pay for shipping, and a loaner is on you.

With some brands, you will not be able to deal directly with the manufacturer.
Contact the place that SOLD it to you, and see how they do it.
