Where can I buy a ResMed machine at the best price?

Hi, I am finding it hard to get a good price on a ResMed auto-cpap machine. Based on experience, I strongly prefer ResMed to other brands. Every site I come across has the same listed price which is pretty expensive in my opinion. I called one place helpmedicalsupplies .com and although they advertised the same price as everyone else, when I called them they gave me a very nice discount. Before committing I still wanted to shop around and see if I can find an even better price since I need two machines. Any advise will be greatly appreciated.

I buy all my machines at secondwindcpap. You can also find good deals on Craigslist, but make sure you meet somewhere where you can plug in the machine and check it out cosmetically, check the hours, etc.

ResMed dictates the selling price for their products. That's why you see pretty much the same price everywhere online.

Cpap.com can't always price match because of this restriction imposed by ResMed in the contract that cpap.com signed to be able to sell the ResMed products.
Cpap.com has some limitations to their "price matching policy".

You might check out secondwindcpap.com for a new open box special and see what their prices are.
They aren't bound by the ResMed contract like most online retailers.

As others have said, the manufacturers of cpap equipment place restrictions on prices that can be advertised by their dealers. By phoning in, you can get the real story on what pricing is available.
