Resmed Mirage Quattro. It has to be the right size, however. Which means you have to have a good respiratory tech fit you. If you have a lazy, sloppy RT at your DME just throw full face masks at you without sizing them properly, it wont work. I use a medium. Ive tried a large and I lose therapy, it aint the same. Gotta be a medium for me. For you it might be another size.

Quattro is the singe best full face mask at handling jaw drop with CPAP therapy. Some people when asleep just totally relax and we relax our jaws and breathe out of our mouths. Others have nasal obstructions, stuff noses for whatever the cause, sinus probs, allergies, whatever million different reasons for a stuffy nose. When your nose gets stuffed up, you will open your mouth and breathe thru your mouth in your sleep. Thats one of the reasons why they make full face masks, to accomodate mouth leakers and jaw drop.

Best CPAP sleep I ever get is with a Resmed Mirage Quattro full face mask. Oh if it was still like the sleep quality I used to get before my tonsillectomy several years ago!
Id be dead by now if I didn't use my CPAP gear every night.

First off thank you guys so much for taking the time to reply. It means a lot to me!

I am going in today to the sleep clinic and the tech will allow me to try on and fit the different masks they have. The simplus seems to have the highest rating on cpap.com plus it is very affordable so that's at the top of my list. The F10 and some of the other ones you guys mentioned are on my list too.

Since your face will change shapes when laying down it is important that when trying on a mask you are laying in your sleeping position (head on a pillow) and at you pressure; highest pressure if using an auto.

Some DME's do not have a place to lay down so this makes mask fitting a challenge. If they don't be sure to point that out and that you will return the mask if you have problems.

Always ask their policy on mask returns - it should be 30 days if it does not work for you. If they refuse to honor the manufacturers industry standard of 30 day return that means it is time to find another DME. Giving them you money is only supporting them and their bad practices.

I didn't realize cpap.com allowed 30 day return on a number of their products. Thanks for telling me that! I'll make sure to use a pillow and keep my jaw lowered and relaxed when trying on the masks.

I mouth leak whenever I use nasal pillows so I'm going to switch to full face mask. I've used the Mirage Quattro in the past but I didn't really get results with it.

I was wondering which one you guys think is best. Sorry if there's already a thread on this, if there is one if someone could link me to it I'd be grateful.

Thank you!
The one in my profile of course......and the one I've been using for nearly 12 years. ResMed Ultra Mirage Full Face (UMFF)
Over the years, I've tried a few others, but always came back to my first/original mask......the UMFF.

Proper sizing and adjustments are extremely important. And, what works for some may not work for others.
Some people go through literally dozens of masks before they find their favorite......I lucked out and found mine right off the bat.
Do your homework.

I went to the clinic and had a mask fitting session and I tried several different masks. I laid on the bed and toss and turned to get a good feel for them.

I found the Simplus to be very comfortable with very little leaking. I tried on one of their Mirage Quattro masks and realized it was also very good. The one I had been using I did not replace the lining regularly which is likely why it leaked. But I feel the Simplus was my favorite. Thanks to everyone again who posted I really appreciate all your help!

I tried the Airfit F20 and the Resmed Airtouch F20 for Her. The airtouch is better for me..more gentler on my face leaving no marks and very little leaking..a good fit so far. The nice thing about the masks is you can return them most places within 30 days if its wrong for you. Its kinda like each their own..no best one really.

I switched about Mirage Quattro to the F20 AirTouch. My leaks rates went way down. I'm generally very happy with the switch. I'm happy with the mask fit. I did move from a medium Mirage to a Large F20.
