I wore this mask the past two nights. I've worn the Ultra Mirage FFM for the past 5-6 months.
What's different about it versus the 431 full face mask:
1. Each box is sold with only one size cushion. The 431 comes with different size cushions in each box.
2. It comes with a soft foam cushion. This is probably the main reason for only putting one size in each box.
I haven't used the 431 but from what I was told, the cushion is the main difference.
I love this mask. The Ultra Mirage FFM would leak air into my eyes depending on what position I would sleep in - I'm a side sleeper. I can't get the 432 to leak around my eyes if when trying. The top straps on the headgear do not have to be tight for a good fit. I did get some leaks on the bottom of the mask, but not too bad. And of course, that's not nearly as bad as leaking into my eyes.
I've tride the Resironics Comfort Full, the Resmed Ultra Mirage Full Face, and now the 432. The 432 is my favorite of the three. If you sleep on your side, I highly recommend it. Even if you sleep on your back, I think you'll be happy with this mask.

Sounds pretty cool. Please keep us updated on your progress with the mask. Btw, could you take a couple of close up pictures of the mask (seals, hose connector area, etc.) and post them? I've seen some of the promotional stuff on it, but I'd like to get a good up close look at the mechanics of the mask and what exactly has changed. Thanks.

Cheers for the review. I also have similar issues with my Ultra Mirage FFM.
Sleeping on my side seems to cause big leaks. I was begining to almost resign myself to sleeping on my back - anything is better than a large leak!!
Ditto on the photos idea though! It would be great to see what this FFM looks like in the flesh.

"What's different about it versus the 431 full face mask: "
DME Guy, I too have used the 432 for 2 nights. Since I've been using the 431, I can tell you there is a third difference between the 431 and 432.
In the 431 the backside of the glider strap is covered with plastic. In the 432 it is not. Instead it is left "bare" and clicks into 4 little spots on the mask, thus leaving it more susceptible to being bent or disengaged from the mask. I wish they had left it like the 431.
I, too, had the chin leak. After I tightened the bottom strap more, the leak was gone.
The 432 is the most leak-free mask I have used (I believe it's my 7th mask). If I had one leak during the night, I was not aware of it. The foam inside the silicone definitely makes a difference.
But.....I must tell you the downside for me. I say for me because I have very delicate skin and this will probably not be a problem for others. The 432 leaves a red indentation on my face where the silicone and bottom straps touches my skin. The first night these red spots hurt after I took off the mask and I had to apply "Neosporin + Pain Relief" to the affected areas.
Last night I wrapped Dr. Scholl's Moleskin Plus around the bottom straps and the silicone. I had a great night's sleep with no mask-leak wakeups. I had the red indentations again this morning, but they were not painful. Tonight I will loosen the straps to see if that will eliminate the indentations.
I am thankful for a leak-proof full face mask (finally) and will keep working with it and making adjustments to prevent next-day facial marks. I will welcome any suggestions from all of you.

Just wondering
Alisha,
I would be interested to know if the 432 cushion will fit the 431 frame.
Thanks
Brian

Bones, I am not ready to remove the silicon seal and foam cushion from my 432 to check this out now. However, from looking at pictures of both silicone seals and the foam cushion, it doesn't look like the cushion would fit the 431.

432 cushion
I have been using the 432 foam in a 431 (M foam,L cushion) for a week. The 432 has a channel formed in it to prevent the foam from being pushed to far into the mask,a few pieces of well placed surgical tape allowed me to trial the benefits of the 432 prior to spending any cash. The morning facial lines that I experienced with the 431 are now only very faint and my chin leaks are , I believe gone but will need to borrow a machine with recording capabilities to confirm this.I saw enough of an improvement in comfort and leak improvement to purchase this mask today.Am very much looking forward to tonights sleep.
