Has anyone had experience using the Zero Gravity position setting with an adjustable bed? While I have found no specific corollary with it and apnea nor with any positive effects with xPAP usage, I am hoping someone may point me to something that may help my understanding. The manufacturer of the bed I ordered provided this:

Re: Query: Zero Gravity sleep position with adjustable bed
Zero gravity is simply a setting on the adjustable bed remote. We have used an adjustable bed or the last 11 years and are very happy with it. With our bed, that position places your feet higher than your head. The position is fairly comfortable, but I prefer to have my head higher than my feet. I stayed in bed for three weeks in the zero gravity position after foot surgery a few years ago. We got the bed because we both have back problems, and we have found it to be very comfortable sleeping on it. It is quite similar to sleeping in a recliner, but you have more control of how high your feet or head is.

Which model do you have? Figure you must have one to give advice about it. Or did you just read the ads?xxyzx wrote:======JimW159 wrote:Has anyone had experience using the Zero Gravity position setting with an adjustable bed? looks like a sales term for an adjustable bed
those are good in some ways
if you sleep better with less pain or discomfort that would help your RDI if not the AHI
you might be able to sleep on your side but it seems as if that would be awkward if you had back problems
for sure with the zero gravity chair you cannot sleep on your side
but it is great for sleeping on your back and goes way back so your legs are raised some - sort of like a recliner
indeed - the ad says it is a recliner in bed size so you dont have to sleep in the living room by the TV set
Re: Query: Zero Gravity sleep position with adjustable bed
WOW! If so, it's the biggest darn chair I'll ever own: in fact it is a king size bed (76 inches wide by 80 inches long) consisting of two twin XL bases joined side by side to allow fully independent articulation. The standard designation for this configuration is a "split king" bed.xxyzx wrote:
bought the chair at walmart
for the bed i read the ad for the one the OPer was buying
it says it is a recliner (only wider )
the picture confirms that
