Resmed heated tubing

Post by shortyd » Wed Feb 07, 2018 1:58 pm

Good Afternoon
I just got a heated tube for my new resmed airsense 10.
I also use oxygen but can not figure out how to connect the oxygen.
Can anyone help.
Thanks

Try to go back to your supplier to get them to switch your standard heated hose for a ClimateLineAir™ Oxy Heated Tube for AirSense 10 - https://www.cpap.com/productpage/resmed ... ve-10.html

If you for sure have the ClimateLine Air Oxy heated hose there is a little port next to where it plugs into the machine that you attach the oxygen line to.
See page 2
https://www.resmed.com/epn/dam/document ... lo_eng.pdf

Does you packaging say "Oxy" on it anywhere?

The ClimateLine Air hose that doesn't have "Oxy" in the product description doesn't have that little port.

Is this what the connection to the machine look like this:

(CPAP.com was used for the initial image)

If so, the port inside the circle is where the O2 tubing connects.

Her's a alternate way. https://www.directhomemedical.com/cart/ ... gKJRPD_BwE
This way is $4.95. The special oxygen hose costs a lot more.

If you happen to be using a full face mask, some of them have a port on the frame.

The heated hose she has is the one with the fitting for oxygen. But, yeah, leave your post here. Someone may find it in the future and save some money.
