Just tried Good Morning Snore Solution mouth piece
Just tried Good Morning Snore Solution mouth piece
Just tried Good Morning Snore Solution. It's a lite blue flexibly mouth piece that pulls your tongue forward. It looks like a pacifier with wings. You insert the wings under you lips in front of your teeth and stick your tongue in the bulb and suck out the air. It holds your tongue by suction. and moves you jaw forward. If you suck too hard your tongue might hurt a bit so you have to play with that. The bulb sticks out between your lips. I'm using it because I can't wear my cpap until I solve this sinus thing. I trimmed the wings a little because its one size fits all so it would fit me better. I just got the best nite's sleep I've had since I got the cpap. It's easy to wear, no bondage straps and masks in the way. It seemed to open my airway and if definitely seemed to help me breath. It is, of course, stupid expensive for 2 cents worth of silicon ($85 to $100). I wonder if I used my cpap and the pacifier would I be able to compare my apnea numbers with cpap only, and cpap with with pacifier and see how effective it might be re: # of episodes? Don't know if that would work.

Women have to adapt to itms that aren’t meant for them . Maskes, headgear are designed for men.the suction on this product hurts ar first. Women have a higher tolerance to pain. sorry. The manufacture needs to modify this product to acamodate smaller tongues. You can’t adapt to it. Sorry. Thanks for the info.

Re: Just tried Good Morning Snore Solution mouth piece
Mostly, it's meant to be used instead of CPAP. When used that way, it's not possible to measure efficacy. I've been using CPAP since July, 1999; when the only alternative to CPAP was very radical (at least by today's standards) surgery.
It's been working fine for me, so I'm staying with CPAP. My current CPAP generates stats that confirm that I'm not have excessive SDB episodes.

Re: Just tried Good Morning Snore Solution mouth piece
It never stopped my snoring, which is what I initially tried it out for. I got tested for Sleep Apnea, turned out to be severe and here I am. A fairly satisfied CPAP user.
My wife also got tested for Sleep Apnea and the test came back negative. However she really does snore... She uses this device every night and it works quite well at preventing her snoring. Helps both of us sleep better since I don't snore anymore with my machine.
I guess all I am saying is it does have a use. But not necessarily to prevent Sleep Apnea. Especially when it is more severe.
