Hair in throat feeling.
First off I'd like to say hello I'm new here. I've had my Cpap machine little over a month now and most of the time I've felt like I have a hair stuck in my throat around the dangally ball at the back of the throat. I know I've had some problems with the mask picking up cat fur. I realised that and I've tried really hard to not let the fur get on my mask but sometimes it happens well I'm wondering if anyone has had same or simular problems and if so how they deal with it?

Put your mask into a large zip-lock plastic bag after use, if you can't control the cat hair. Check the machines filter also, as maybe it's packed with cat hair.
As for the "hair in the throat" part, perhaps putting a sugar FREE cough drop in your mouth between the side of your mouth and your gums would work. I've been doing that for MANY years. It stays in there and slowly melts during the night, and calms my throat.
IF you do this, it MUST be sugar FREE cough drop, as a sugar cough drop will literally MELT your teeth since it's in there all night!

Re: Hair in throat feeling.
I felt that a few years ago. I was constantly digging at my uvula with my finger. Thought I was going crazy until one day about a year after it started I pulled a 7-inch hair out of my throat. No more hairy feeling.
