Having been on xpap for about 9 months I have recently developed a clicking sound from my nose when I eat.
My Doctor was interested but slightly baffled, and proffered thoughts on humidity.
Anyone else had any problems like this, or know of a solution.
By the way if its painful I don't want to know.

Clicking sound from my nose
Billy. If the clicking sound only happens when you eat, then I would guess that it is your mandible/jaw. Sometimes if I chew steak my jaw clicks or cracks. Perhaps it just sounds like your nose since they are in close proximity.
Also, if my sinuses start to drain, my nose occasionally makes a popping sound like bubbles popping. But that has nothing to do with eating.
Other than that, my body doesn't make any other sounds that I care to mention. ....

Most people that have OSA have some form of bruxism. This can put a lot of stress on your teeth from the force enough to split your teeth. It can also impact your Temporo-Mandibular Joint or disc.
You might want to see your dentist if they are equipped with a Panoramic X-Ray, sometimes that disc can dislodge.
This joint is close to your ear and the sound can seem like it is coming from the nose.
