Any side-sleepers have CPAP success with MedCline?

Post by rogerconnelly » Tue Jul 17, 2018 10:58 am

Hi All - a quick search shows this product was discussed a number of years ago (only a couple of threads), but mainly for it's use in helping with acid reflux.

What I'm interested in is: does it provide shoulder relief for side sleeping (as the pictures make it look) AND does it work with a CPAP mask? There seems to be at least one review on their site saying you can wear a mask with the body pillow, but I see one comment in our old thread here that makes me believe the opposite - so does anyone have current experience they'd be willing to share? :-)

- thanks up front - Roger

P.S. with this set up on a 40 percent off sale currently, plus them willing to take money from FSA/HSA, I'm giving it serious thought!

For acid reflux we put 5" blocks under the head of the bed 15 years ago..soved the problem a lot cheaper.

As a rule, most wedge pillows are not full bed length, creating an unnatural bend at or near the hips/lower back.
Some are just not firm enough to provide adequate support, either.
JNK's blocks under the head of the bed is easy to do, as B3 sells risers for dorm "inmates"
to cram more stuff under the bed.
They are likely available now--just only use two on the head end.

I actually bought one of these- Total waste of money for me. It hurt my hips, shoulders and armpits terribly. Tried for 5 nights and was totally unable to get to sleep on my side on it because it was so uncomfortable. I only use it sometimes to nap on my back with my CPAP on. Only good for back sleeping.

we tried risers under the head of the bed. had to use a car jack to raise the king bed up. neither one of us liked sleeping on a slant and took it all out. my big wedge with a pillow on top has served me well for many years. i think you can do better with pillows and wedge from other places.
