Hello again all!
So my numbers have been wonderful since adjusting my min pressure and staying stable at an average of .6 AHI per night. Also I am only waking up once or twice a night to go to the bathroom and falling right back to sleep. The problem is I have been waking up with a sinus headache over the past few mornings. Could it be that my humidity is too high? I have it jacked up to 5. I can post my SH data if you would like but I did not think it is pertinent. If you have any other ideas could you please let me know?
Thanks!

Curious why you'd feel the need of such high humidity in NJ of all places... I would think less or none would be more comfortable... you may be developing sinus problems as a result (don't you feel congested?). I'm in the Maritimes here, and can't imagine wanting any more hum. than we're already getting!

Usually when the humidity is too high or too low people get nasal mucosa symptoms along with maybe sinus pressure symptoms.
So I don't know if a sinus headache all by itself with no other symptoms would be related to humidity setting or not but one way to find out...change the humidity setting.
If using a heated hose might want to play with hose air temps just in case they are affecting anything.
Sometimes strap tension can cause headaches also. So might look at where the straps are and how snug they might be.
Also..I get headaches that might appear to be "sinus" headaches across the frontal area but they are actually often neck headaches from sleeping in a weird position on the bed pillow. So that's a thought also.

Re: Sinus Headache upon waking up
I actually have been more congested but assumed it was due to my allergies. I put up the humidity because I keep the ac on high and assumed it would counteract the dryness from it. Oddly enough using the machine has helped keep everything open at night in my sinuses as well so didn't think much about it. I will take down the humidity and the heated hose temp as well.
Pugsy I have been getting sinus headaches for about 30 years so I have become very acquainted with sinus pressure so I know the mask is not too tight. The dreamwear frame and gel pillows keep treatment very comfortable.
Thanks!
