F20 Cushions - Are they Interchangeable?

I am about six weeks in wearing the Resmed F20 Airfit. Love the mask!

Question: Can you interchange the F20 Airfit cushion with the Airtouch cushion on the same mask? I'd like to order the Airtouch cushion and give it a go without ordering the whole mask/harness, etc....

Yes. I have both. Completely interchangeable. I'll be very interested to hear your thoughts.

The AirTouch™ Full Face cushion is interchangeable with the AirFit™ F20, and the AirFit™ F20 for Her Full Face CPAP Mask. Available in Small, Medium and Large. All size cushions fit the F20 frame which is universal to all F20 cushions.

The plush memory foam cushion is designed to conform to the unique contours of each individual face, creating a light, soft, breathable seal that stays in place throughout the night.

The AirTouch™ memory foam cushion cannot be washed instead the cushion should be wiped down with a cloth or CPAP Mask Wipe after each use. Memory foam cushions should be replaced every 30 days.

I am betting that somebody is going to come up with
a technique/product for cleaning the Airtouch cushion.
I hope it is one of our forum labrats.
In the meantime, I believe a mask liner can extend the usability of a cushion.
But why couldn't the memory foam be incorporated into a mask liner?

Sheriff I have both the AIrTouch F20 and thr Airfit F20. Cushionsnare completely interchangeable as the frame is identical (including the “for her” version). As for comfort I prefer the AirTouch memory foam. I find it seals better and just feels better on the face. I personally use a mask liner because I want to keep this mask in operation for a lot longer than 30 days. Size wise it seems like you have to size up a size on the AIrTouch vs the Airfit. I was an in between size of a medium and a large and the AIrTouch I definitely needed a large but couldn’t gotten away with a medium in the Airfit. If I had to buy a mask again based on the limited masks I have tried I would say the AIrTouch is right now my favorite mask.

Ok... that does it. I'm definitely gonna give the air touch a run! I like the way the airfit is constructed around the area of the nose bridge. It's flexible enough to accommodate my knot nose and provide a good seal. I was suspecting the airtouch would be too rigid, but it's worth a try. I like the memory foam idea.

My wife and I both tried the Air Touch cushion. We both had trouble getting a good seal at higher pressures (over 15 cm). Others here have said they had no problems with higher pressures. Like everything else with CPAP treatment, YMMV.
