Airlift procedure

Post by Ganoov » Thu Aug 09, 2018 7:00 pm

I have a consult with a Dr. to look at the airlift procedure. I’ve had a UPPP, dental appliance, Cpap, etc... none of which has alleviated my symptoms. I’ve only found relief from the tongue sunction cup device, but I’m interested in looking into the airlift procedure to get greater relief and to have a more lasting effect. Does anyone have experience/results/recommendations regarding the airlift procedure?

i know this isn't what you are looking for. i respect that and apologize in advance. but for anyone else interested in surgeries to combat sleep apnea-

good luck in finding someone who has had the surgery. i'd be interested in what they have to say.
people say i'm self absorbed.
but that's enough about them.

Your first mistake was getting the UPPP, why would you want to keep compounding it with more and more surgery instead of getting the advice (here) you should have asked for in the first place? We likely could have gotten you set up properly and been done with it and you could have avoided everything else.

Hi Ganoov, did you go forward with the AirLift procedure? If so, has it worked out for you?

Thanks.

Don't expect a response. Ganoov hasn't bothered to come back even once since he posted his original statement. First time poster and last time visited was at the same time.

Ganoov is also a first time, (one time?) poster.
Odd, yes?
But it's Friday night--and we know what comes out on weekends . . .

Yeah, don't expect a reply from Ganoov.

Are you using CPAP successfully?

That article does not in any way address the Airlift procedure.

Yes, technically, the Airlift procedure is surgery, but no parts of the airway are removed. And, the procedure is easily reversible.
