Medistrom Pilot 24 Plus and Co-Pilot 24: Any Charging Issues?

Post by DavidY » Sun Nov 18, 2018 11:36 am

I have been using this setup with my Airsense 10 Autoset as a UPS for a number of months. A few weeks ago, the batteries started beeping while my AC was still on. It seems like that they could not hold its charge anymore. Anybody else having similar issues?

Sometimes with backup batteries they beep when power from the wall is not ideal and the backup takes over powering the load. The power in your area might be not ideal, it's not uncommon, especially in older buildings. Otherwise I would contact the manufacturer.

Thanks. I will check the voltage...I have a power conditioner available. Subdivision is quite new however.

Tech support has diagnosed a cell issue with the Pilot 24 Plus. They will be replacing the discontinued unit with the Pilot 24 Lite. The Co-Pilot 24 was checked out fine. Hope that they will work well together besides the difference in footprint.
