I had this exact problem back in 2019. It just started happening out of nowhere, but I'd had it for a couple of months so I assumed it was something I did to cause the issue. My insurance stopped paying for the machine so I had to mail it back and I used other solutions to get by.

Just recently purchased a new airsense 10 from a distributor. It immediately did the same thing. The power pack has a green light, indicating the plug is fine. However, the power button just flashes green once or twice and then it's off.

Just curious if there was ever an answer?

Return the unit to the DME you purchased it from.

Hi, I am using Autosense 10 for the last 3 months, but suddenly on Friday night faced the same problem, after touching buttons randomly for good 15 mins it suddenly got started but in the morning I realized that humidifier was not on, but it was trouble when it didn't start on next night despite all kind of efforts for about an hour. I had to leave it and sleep without it. please guide me on how u people took care of this issue, I have tried changing wall sockets, the direction of the plug, green light on the adapter is solid, whereas the power light on the machine just flickers every time the power cord is connected or disconnected. dealer is nearly 16 hours drive away from me.

I had a gut feeling that I had miss-handled my Machine and held it in a vertical position un-intentionally (during wrapping it to avoid dust etc) during which humidifier was at the top end for a few moments, therefore I was feeling inside that some water from the humidifier may have gone inside the machine (that's what I assumed, I may be wrong), so I planned action on this hypothesis, I cleaned the adapter plug-in port with some (glass cleaner spray) and tissue tips, after that I used vacuum cleaner suction and then soft air blower to dry it up completely, I used vacuum suction and air blower to clean up all possible openings of the machine. (maybe I was too hard on the machine out of desperation, but that was what I did and writing here my experience) after getting the satisfaction that It may have cleaned in all possible ways without opening any screw, I tried to turn it on but it was the same as before and didn't power on. with disappointment, I left it on the side table.
After about 3 - 4 hrs when I was going to sleep, I thought to try once more out of hope, and luckily it started just like normal. I thanked GOD to save me from trouble and used it as routine peacefully.

I know this is an old thread, but I had pretty much the same problem on my Airsense10 Autoset unit a few times.
I got a replacement brick, and it did not solve the problem. Wiggling the plug that connects to the yellow socket on the unit would make the unit come on intermittently. After fiddling with it a bit, I cleaned out the socket, and after a few unsuccessful attempts, I took a small hooked end of a nail file from a nail clipper, and gently ran it around the inside circle of the yellow connecter. That solved the problem. My guess is that there is some corrosion on the inside of that metal barrel. I have had to do that a couple of times in the last 2 years, but so far it has solved the issue.
YMMV.

Just had the same problem. I realized you really have to push the power plug in very far.. beyond when it first flashes the light momentarily. Push hard and if you're lucky your problem will be solved too
