Re: Full face masks
Well...i found from user reviews that the dreamware has the pros of the tubing fixed above the head allowing free movement of the head but is noisy & leaves deep longlasting marks on the face..
The f30 has tubing attachment in the front but unlike the amara view, the exhaled air isn't directed into the eye....but doesnt leave any facial marks & is quiet

Are you reviewing the masks, just complaining, selling something or asking questions?

Re: Full face masks
I have used both, and for me, the F30 is more comfortable.

Re: Full face masks
This is one of those questions that will get all kinds of answers. Most people will recommend the brand machine they are using. Hopefully, Pugsy will weigh in on this issue as she as used both Resmed and Philips Responic machines. From my understanding, the Resmed machines tend to respond to pressure changes quicker than the Philips Responic machines. I have only used Resmed machines, so I cannot compare them to any other brand.

A lot is going to depend on pressure needs and needs for any exhale relief and which type of machine is needed but in general with a lot of unknowns I suggest the ResMed model and make sure it will auto adjust. It will cover almost all potential issues a bit more comprehensively IMHO.sachinaps24 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 26, 2018 1:15 pmWhich brand bipap machine will you recommend for use...respironics or resmed???
See what I wrote this morning about my experience with both in this thread.

While I discuss apap...the same stuff holds true for bipap. I have used both brands of bilevel machines as well as apap/cpap single pressure machines. I still like ResMed the best.
More customizable to patient's individual needs which to me equals more comfort which in turn usually means easier/better sleep and for me sleep is the primary objective always because without sleep not much of anything else matters.

Re: Full face masks
It really depends on which fits you better, and you'll only know that when you try them yourself. Using a vendor like cpap.com that offers free "return insurance" on select masks you can help you do that, but be sure to read the terms so you can meet the deadline and requirements for a return.sachinaps24 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 26, 2018 11:20 amResmed airfit f30 full face mask vs philips respironics dreamware full face mask
For me, in spite of having 4 sizes, the Dreamware FF just does not seal well on my face below my lower lip. But it seals well below my nose - which isn't surprising since I do well with the original Dreamware nasal cushion mask.
The ResMed F30 seals well below my lower lip, but doesn't seal well below my nose. I have a big nose and the F30 only has small and medium cushions.
I think ResMed has the upper edge in designing silicone face seals. Their engineering is just better for me. But the simple Phillips
Dreamware nasal cushion (large) has an aperture and shape that just fits my nose better.
I like the top of the head hose attachment on the Dreamware - it keeps the fit of the mask from shifting when I move in my sleep. However, I use overhead hose management, so the F30 doesn't shift too much when I change positions.
