I’m a side sleeper and have to sleep with a walking boot for 5 weeks (broke ankle).
The added weight of the boot seems to be putting extra pressure on my hip and after an hour or 2 it’s game over.
I’ve tried a pillow between my knees and a loosely rolled up towel under my waist but nothing helps.
I know the answer is probably sleeping on my back but I hate starting the night on my back.
For whatever reason it makes me anxious.
Any ideas are appreciated.

Appreciate the video. Not sure I could relax in that setup.
Re: Side Sleeping - Reducing Hip Pressure Point
I've found that having a pillow tucked into my lower back and leaning slightly back on it has helped a lot with the hip pressure.
