REsMed AirSense 10 - Do I have to set a Mask Type?

Post by Cloudship » Fri Mar 22, 2019 6:36 am

I have been trying out both a full face mask and a nasal mask with my AirSense 10. I was just looking at the full manual, and I see that in the clinical settings there is a section for mask type. Do I have to change teh mask typoe setting for the particular mask I am using, or is this more of just a documentation type of thing?

You should change the mask type.
Yes. The mask type setting affects how the machine works and reports data. Always make sure it's correctly set for whatever mask type you're using.
