dark stains on my pillowcses
dark stains on my pillowcses
Ugg... I have central sleep apnea. I'm experiencing dark staining on the right and left of my pillowcase's. I use the p10 nasal pillows. I have tried different pillowcases such as silk, flannel and cotton but im still getting stains
Anyone have thoughts or the same experiance?
thanks

Wash your hair.
Wash your face.
Brush your teeth.
It is not the cpap.
That would be impossible.

My vote would be for drool stains. I get them often.

I don't think even OxyClean will get out KS... but I suppose it's worth a try *goes to get the costco size box out of the laundry room*

Back to the OP's problem--if nothing removes it--dye it.
Rit for natural fibers, other dyes for synthetics.
Follow directions to ensure colorfastness.
Tie-dye hair is a big surprise--but not fun.

Re: dark stains on my pillowcses
I have the same problem and can't figure out what's causing it. I am meticulous about cleaning my cpap so I know there are no mold issues. The best I can guess is that it has something to do with the air vent on my nose piece as many of the stains have a linear pattern to them and are located in the general area where the vent would be when I sleep on my side.
I have no problem getting the stains out of the pillowcases but they are stained again the first night after changing them. I didn't notice the problem until I switched my bed linens to white. I assume it happened before but I didn't notice the stains on beige pillowcases. And it happens with my husband's cpap, too.

So go with beige, then.
My whites eventually turn beige anyway.
(I can't stand the smell of bleach.)
Likewise, ozone.
My mother gave me good instincts.
