ResMed AirFit F20 and F30

Post by prandelicious » Sat Jun 08, 2019 8:45 am

Hi all,

I have the ResMed AirFit Touch F20. I wanted to get another mask to test (also for backup) and looking into getting the AirFit F30. I'd like to know if the headgear and the frame of the F20 is compatible with the cushion of the F30 or not so I don't have to buy the entire lot?

Also, where do you buy your masks online? I can't seem to find a kit on Amazon. These are available on Cheap CPAP Supplies and CPAP.com but I wanted to know the cheapest source possible with good after-sales service.

Thanks!

The headgear is not interchangable between masks unfortunately.

They are not interchangeable. You can sometimes find complete masks on Amazon or eBay before they are taken down - and they are often discounted. I buy parts such as cushions on those sites as well. Sometimes on the forums here people will sell masks they tried out and couldn't get to work.

Our host CPAP.com isn't cheap but they are competitive to any other major online place...they have good shipping and service too. Plus 30 day try the mask and return it for many of the masks.

I tried the F30 and my issue with it is nostril pain. My septum curves down just a little below the nose. As a result the F30 nose piece pushes up on the septum to the point I am under some pretty good pain by morning.
So short of surgery the F20 still wins for now.
