So is OSCAR software similar to Sleepyhead software.

Post by Cannuck 1 » Thu Jul 23, 2020 7:16 pm

Its been a while since I have been here on this great forum, good to see a few familiar names that do care for CPAP folks. I just ordered a new Cpap Resmed Airsense 10 autoset. My old machine is getting close to 5 years (13300+ hrs) and Canadasupplycpap had a good sale on so I ordered a similar or the same machine. The old Resmed Airsense 10 autoset will become a backup and it has to be the best piece of equipment I have used.
I will like to monitor my new machine with software for a while and want to make sure it is functioning properly. I hope I will be able to get into the machine to tweak my settings like the older model like a nurse would. My Apena with Resmed 10
airsense machine seems to have been under 1 most of the time, had some surgery last yr and this yr and it went up a little and has settled down below 1 again.(I'm a lucky duck with low apena readings)
Any help will be welcomed.

I'm a newbie, so I haven't used Sleepyhead, but I believe Oscar is like a newer/(presumably better) version of it. I have Oscar, and it's very handy. Here's the link to get it:-
https://www.sleepfiles.com/OSCAR/
It's easy to download. Best of luck.

Sleepyhead is no longer developed. The code was branched to form OSCAR, which is still actively developed.

You will find OSCAR very similar...

Thanks, now I will download OSCAR. I should also like to give thanks to Sleepyhead and Oscar software keener's who keep us Cpap users who want to know what is happening with sleep issues and equipment issues. Thanks

Yes it would be, there has to be input from members to tweak some of the small issues. It is a world wide problem , I noticed the different languages that folks can use to make the site more user friendly.
