You may want to look into hydroxyzine. I wonder if anyone here has any feedback on that. It's an antihistamine. Works well for anxiety and sleep when taken before bedtime.
I do agree with Chicago Granny that two nights of bad sleep does not warrant sleeping pills!
Address the possible issues with good sleep hygiene and anxiety management first!

I took Hydroxyzine approx 2 years. Hydroxyzine works fantastic for sleep. Only issue I had was feeling groggy next morning, took me approx 2 hours to get going and dry mouth.

Two hours and dry mouth. Those are pretty big issues! Maybe your dosage was too high?

Actually, my body is very sensitive to most synthetic medications, I have a long allergic reaction med list at hospital. I only took 10mg Hydroxyzine for sleep, to calm hyperthyroid symptoms. Hydroxyzine works wonderful for insomnia.
