I've had this machine for 3 years and have few complaints. The same hose has been stuck on the machine for at least 3 months and it needs changing. Pull and twist with all my might and it won't budge. Do you have some tips to pulling off the hose? Also, around the inlet port the hose inserts into, there's a gray circle that can be turned 180 degrees left or right (see pic). Does this lock and unlock the hose? Have tried both positions but no luck. Someone mentioned to put a light coating of silicon grease on the inside of the hose plug to make it easier to unplug next time.
Thank you!!

If it is a heated hose, press in on the white rimmed rectangular buttons next to the machine.
They are on opposite sides of the hose end.
Just squeeze them together, and pull gently outward.

How long have you been using that hose?

Aha!
The unheated hose has the same two buttons.
I can just make the white out on Zonker's view.
They must be squeezed together to release the hose

Thanks for the reply but I'm not sure what you meant by "... white out..." Are you referring to the flat gray ring that twists180 degrees on the machine or the raised arrows on the end of the hose. I squeezed on opposite sides of the hose and pulled but it wouldn't disconnect from the machine. I'm not sure what the raised bumps on the flat gray ring are supposed to do. What am I not seeing? Thanks!

The gray rubbery ring that forms the end of the hose--
It has two slightly raised buttons on either side of it.
They have a white c-shaped frame around each of them.
Put your thumb on one button and a couple of fingers on the other.
Now squeeze them together while pulling the hose out of the socket on your cpap.
Wiggle the hose a little while you pull.

Thanks for the reply. I've been squeezing the two raised buttons on the hose since the beginning but it's really stuck. Wonder if anyone has removed the housing to access the hose's tube? May have to cut it out off.
Thanks again everyone!

1. Problem solved by cutting through the rubber plug to release the hose.
2. Also, the grey ring that rotates is only used for connecting heated hoses. Mine is unheated which why I couldn't figure out what the ring was for.
Thank you all for the replies.

So I know this thread ended and with an acceptable outcome for the querant and that's good but I still wanted to leave a comment here that may help another person that finds this thread via Google searching this problem, like I did. I have a Luna G3 cpap machine and I got it new. I assembled it quickly and easily but come time for the first cleaning it was impossible to remove the hose from the mask or the machine. I did not want to pull on the hose and stretch or compromise it in any way nor did I want to/ nor could I afford to cut it. I really did myself in too because I pushed the hose on as far back as it would go to mask hose and machine and there was nowhere to grab the end to pull it forward. What worked for me (and well) was I used the rounded end of a teaspoon to get between the back of the machine and the hose end. I applied a gentle pressure and pushed the edge of the hose back slightly which rolled the end back and released enough pressure that the hose rolled off. Same with the mask. Slid right off. Also, after cleaning a hairdryer on cold setting is great in helping dry the mask & tubing, especially if your home is prone to mold like mine is. Hope this helps someone else. Wishing everyone reading good health and long life.

The plastic piece the hose is attached to comes off quite easily by looking in the machine (where the humidifier goes). You will see two seals. With the orientation of the machine being the hose to the right and the machine upright, the right seal has a tab that you push in. This will allow you to pull the seal out with the hose still attached. Make sure the ring that spins on the back (the ring that the heated hose plugs into) is turned side ways so that the seal can exit.
Now you have grip to pull the hose off. I personally had to use my nails to get it started. In full disclosure I have done this, but just as with anything else do at your own risk.
