Sinusitis/nasal blocking

For some reason, I rather randomly doubt my nose blocked. I tried inhaling Olbas vapour from a stick, and blowing, but to no avail. It just would not clear.

As a result I had to mouth breath and removed my chin strap, which led to a significantly worse night's sleep.

Any suggestions for dealing with this seemingly trivial but potentially CPAP -derailing issue? I am not sure if it qualifies as sinusitis although I have often sufferfed from a certain amount of nasal blocking.

Have you tried Flonase?

Check out Nasopure on Amazon. I use it before I go to bed and it clears your sinuses out. I get through a whole night without any breathing problems after using it. My sleep doc recommended it for 2 years before I finally gave it a try, wish I had done it sooner.

I was waking up most nights with blocked nasal passages. Asked primary care doc for recommendation she recommended Flonase, I tried and liked.

Sine Flonase is pricey (for me), maybe I will try Nasopure as recommended by prior poster.

Just before bed, a nasal saline spray/rinse to loosen and clear out the passages followed by one shot in each nostril of Amazons version of Flonase (cheaper and works the same).

None of those mentioned so far.

Sprays containing oxymetazoline may cause bad rebound congestion when discontinued.

Nasopure (and generic saline nasal rinses) is good.

If you end up needing a good spray, look for generic ones (Walmart, CVS, etc.) containing fluticasone propionate. These are the equivalent of Flonase.
