Old-school Remstar Auto M Series

Hello Is this machine also on recall ? My uncle has a new one he never used from back in the days and works just perfect.
Would it be safe to use until i recieve my new one?
Im turning back my dreamstation

One can hope . . .
But it probably uses the same poisonous cr@p as later generations.

Nope! Perfectly fine to use.......for.......EVER. (as are the machines prior to the M Series.......the "Legacy" models)

Well i guess its worth a try until i get my resmed wich would be probably next week

The m seriers does not apear on the recall page , but if some one has used this machine for a long time it would be helpful to know there experience on it and if they ever had any health issues

Of course the M Series doesn't appear on the recall page.......because it WASN'T RECALLED!
It was made BEFORE Philips acquired Respironics.

The M Series was made between 2006 and 2009. The System One came out in 2010.
If there had been "issues", you would have heard about them long ago.

Actually, there were quite a few "issues" with the M Series, but most of them were from the poorly designed humidifier tanks. A few others were regarding data recording or data retention.

Had a good night with it last night it was a little bit noisy compared to the dreamstation ,
Also need to adapt the humidity since i live in the desert of New Mexico close to el paso tx my lungs are feeling a little bit irritated
