How Can I Clean the Interior Fan Area of the ResMed AirSense 10 AutoSet?

Post by CPAPblows » Fri Oct 01, 2021 1:15 pm

I have had an ResMed AirSense 10 AutoSet for more than 5 years. Lately, I've noticed a musty odor, especially when first starting the therapy at night. When I disconnected the hose, I noticed small dark particles that seemed to be a kind of mold on the unit's air output connector. I cleaned that connector, but still get a similar smell.

I suspect the same kind of particles are in the interior fan area of the ResMed AirSense 10 AutoSet, also. So how can I check this area, and disassemble it to clean the area if necessary? Any help would be appreciated.

I noted some black/darkened areas on the Humidifier Chamber Air Outlet and bought a new one for my ResMed - It was super easy to pop out.
