Since 2016, I have been using the ResMed Airfit P10, along with the CPAP Max 2.0 pillow, specifically so that my pillow doesn’t move the pillows from my nose and getting the whoosh treatment that can wake me up. Also, it helps keep the hose out of the way. I am predominantly a side sleeper, moving from one side to the other throughout the night, and sometimes I sleep on my stomach and turn my head to one side or the other. Now, I am looking to make a change since on occasion I tend to get a sore neck, even though the pillow is adjustable. In my research of CPAP pillows, I have narrowed down the list to the following memory foam pillows:
• Endurimed CPAP Comfort Pillow, or
• Lunderg CPAP Pillow
Also, I am considering non-memory foam pillows to potentially help with my neck soreness, thinking that the memory foam might be causing some of the issues.
I am considering the following polyester fiberfill pillow:
• Core Double Edge CPAP Pillow
Or, the following 100% Shropshire wool pillow:
• Contoured Side Sleeper Pillow
Or, the following feather and down pillow:
• Czech Feather & Down CPAP pillow
And lastly, I am looking at the following buckwheat pillows:
• Duplex Night Pillow, or
• Comfysleep Buckwheat Pillow
If any of you on the forum have used any of the above pillows, I’d be interested in your comments, both pros and cons.

Re: CPAP Pillow
Posting this just for your possible interest (it's old but still used).
I sleep alone ('cept for my cat) and so can get away with this - I cut a 3" wide, 4" deep and 1' long 'trench' in my memory foam mattress starting at the head and going towards the foot, with an electric knife, and rounded top edges with scissors. I have a FF mask and when sleeping on my front with my head turned right, the mask dips into the trench diagonally or more vertically, avoiding a very sore neck in the a.m. I've also cut and fiddled with sheets to accommodate things, but have been sleeping like this for years, and so far so good. Important to mention is that my particular mask's vent holes are higher on the mask than most (which are usually at the elbow), so foam or sheet don't block holes but probably would for other masks.

Re: CPAP Pillow
Thanks for the reply Julie. I will still be looking at purchasing one of the pillows that I listed, so hopefully, some folks who have used one of them will chime in with their comments.

Re: CPAP Pillow
Have you browsed "healthy sleeping positions" and studied four or five articles from reputable health sources? Learn how to position yourself so the spine/neck is aligned properly; the chin doesn't drop down toward the chest; and there is a small pillow between your knees when side sleeping. Study and practice what you read in those articles. Get that right, and you might find those expensive, specialized pillows are all BS marketing for higher margins. I use a cheap polyester-fill pillow and follow healthy sleep positioning.
Re: CPAP Pillow
Yes, I have studied the "healthy sleeping positions and worked with my physical therapist after my 3rd neck surgery where they replaced two discs with plastic discs, and inserted a titanium bracket. And after my eighth shoulder surgery where they replaced my entire shoulder socket, comfortable sleep is always a challenge. I won't mention the other 40+ surgeries I've had which lead to difficulty in a sound night's sleep. Recently I purchased the Coop Orthopedic Knee Pillow, and that helps at times. Also, it seems like no matter what pillow you see advertised, they all use their marketing buzzwords. Have you used any of the pillows I listed? I'd be interested in hearing the feedback on your specific use of one/any of them.ChicagoGranny wrote: ↑Sat Apr 09, 2022 7:53 amHave you browsed "healthy sleeping positions" and studied four or five articles from reputable health sources?
