Anyone heard about the Transcend Micro?
Anyone heard about the Transcend Micro?
I got an email from Transcend as I have bought a couple of CPAPs from them, but was wondering if there have been any reviews or articles other than directly from them. I am not planning to rush out and buy one this instant, but if they are as good as they claim to be, maybe some time in the future.
To be clear, I am not shilling for them. I don't like to buy any products (apnea or otherwise) that have no reviews.

Since they don't ship until next week, I would think the reviews will be "paid" until after that timeframe.
Re: Anyone heard about the Transcend Micro?
It looks interesting. A little bit smaller than the Z2 Auto. I scanned through the user guide, it has a ramp and EPR function. It appears to need a proprietary hose due to the connecter. You can use normal masks. It seems to have an auto stop, but not auto start. Also, it's unclear if this is Auto Pap or fixed pressure CPAP.fmj13 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 21, 2022 5:05 amI got an email from Transcend as I have bought a couple of CPAPs from them, but was wondering if there have been any reviews or articles other than directly from them. The key will be to see if the reviews are good. Update... the specs show Therapy Mode "Auto"
I have a Z2, and it works well, but is a bit noisier than a full sized machine. I have used mine for a bit of travel, and for a few months when my Resmed Airsense 10 Auto was out for repair. I'm pretty happy with it for a very portable travel unit.

Re: Anyone heard about the Transcend Micro?
Anyone have recent experience with this? I recently got it but it seems uncomfortable. I am not sure how to describe it but I am not amble to breathe freely.
Of course, I cannot return it anymore and would just like it to work well/fine. I double checked the hose and the pressure and it seems fine.
Something is making me struggle to use it. Can’t put my finger on it.
Any suggestions or insight or tips is appreciated.

Re: Anyone heard about the Transcend Micro?
Hey Zac:
Did you ever figure out what was causing your issue as I am having the same problem. Pressure settings are the same as my home machine but I seem to have trouble inhaling with the micro? Very frustrating. I’ve swapped masks with my home machine and get the same result so it’s not a mask issue. Any help or thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

Re: Anyone heard about the Transcend Micro?
ok, after a month usage:
Automatic ON/OFF perfect, better than Philips
size & noise, perfect too
BUT
needs Microsoft Windows program for changing settings, pressure, APAP/CPAP, & many other settings. this is a very bad annoyance
Android App only shows you what happened in the recent nights
According reading I do not have apnoe as the corresponding readings are always 0 (zero) though the pressure settings vary through the night (starting 4 raising sometimes to 11!)
Delivered air volume seems smaller than the "big" Philips Dream machine, but after a few nights I adjusted to that.
Testing for obstructive apnoea (not breathing at all) it just continues running at start setting, the Philips dream machine starts to oscillate the pressure and raising it until breathing starts again.
Result, using the Transcend Micro I wake up soaked in sweat as if I did not use my APAP at all. I use CPAP & APAPs since about 20 years, Respironics and Philips.
Surprising, the BMC MINI shows the same problem, at least there is only one App for everything. but it is double size to Transcend Micro and all your data goes to China, no way out.

Re: Anyone heard about the Transcend Micro?
explanation please, dreamstation has same pressure setting, APAP, 4 to 12 cmH²O, average pressure while sleeping 4.5 to 7, with rare nasal congestion reaching 11. AHI varies from 0.8 to 5 or 6, as side sleeper I rarely have many obstructive apnoeas, but many hypopneas. After my coronary Bypass surgery it was a real disaster for several days. Settings were higher years ago but I developed Reflux, since it is reduced to 4 only my Reflux stopped, anyway, not breathing the machines should raise the pressure as Philips Dream Machine does.
Kindly elaborate why Deammachine works correctly, but Transcend Micro and BMC Mini have a - in your point of view - legitimitate problem. A problem I do not understand
