Yes, I’m a new user and I research everything to death but in my wildest dreams I never contemplated that finding parts would be so complicated. I researched what would be best for my health and everything else but didn’t realize the issues regarding the brand I selected. Thanks for letting me know about Sleepeh. I was wondering about it. Which company do you like the best and why? …price / dependability?ronragus wrote: ↑Fri Aug 12, 2022 2:10 pmI am based in BC, I use Amazon.ca, Sleepeh, and CPapoutlet.ca. Bringing in a machine purchased from states to Canada has been easy overall, since there is tariff exemption for personal use.
Now for AS 11 parts, they will be rare and overpriced compared to their AS10 counterparts because the demand for them isnt there yet. I have no appetite for AS11 exactly because I will be price gouged for the parts.
Is Your CPAP Store Canada legit?

Thanks for your reply. It’s appreciated. Many of the respiratory clinics are gauging people with high pries for supplies. They are hurting their own businesses by doing so.Cpapian wrote: ↑Sat Aug 13, 2022 2:05 pmI don't know if you have solved your issue yet, but in case you haven't. I took a look at their website. It looks like it is a walk in store that has decided to offer products online. I haven't dealt with them. They are in London Ontario. If you use Google maps, you should be able to see their store. It's not a PO box which is generally good.
Their mask prices are about $10 less than the place I use. But the place I use will price match. The place I use is https://www.cpapmachines.ca. They are in Richmond Hill, Ontario. Products are fine, service reliable. Sometimes delivery has been next day, but I am not far from their location.
Neither site shows parts for the 11. I assume that the suppliers that are affiliated with the ADP (program) get first dibs on products since they will have the highest machine sales in the province.
BTW what parts do you need. Masks, of course, are not machine dependent. If you need filters, humidifier or hose right away, you might have to go to your machine provider and pay their extortion prices.
Even going to Resmed for help has been rather disappointing because they lump Canadian customers with US customers. Ironically because of the contracts they themselves are signing we can’t buy supplies from the vast majority of companies they are suggesting are legit and we can buy from. It’s been quite a rigamaroll. ‘Sigh’
Government Policy makers and Resmed policy makers don’t seem to understand some of the real issues we are facing. I’ve left comments with them and will write them a letter.
Re: Is Your CPAP Store Canada legit?
Thankfully I’ve been careful with everything apart from over tightening my mask straps for a bit. The more I use my equipment, the more I’m finding what works for me.chunkyfrog wrote: ↑Sat Aug 13, 2022 10:20 pmLuckily, almost no one needs to replace parts as often as recommended.
With care, most parts can last way longer than the sellers would like you to believe.
The greatest source of wear and tear is excessive cleaning/handling.
(Now you know why they want you to do that.)

There are little supplies for the Air11 in Canada or the US.
The good news, Air11 users are learning they don't have to replace their hoses, tanks and cushions as often as they thought.
I use CPAPOutlet.ca
Reliable, quick to ship. I've been able to submit claims to my insurance carrier (SunLife), without problem.

I don’t know if anybody touched on this yet but certain replacement parts can be found on eBay.
Normally the cushion for my mask is around $35 but I was able to order two of them for roughly $13 each plus shipping, in an original sealed bag.
The rest of the parts are a lot more expensive but they can be found for a little bit less than what they charge right now.
Hope that helps

Re: Is Your CPAP Store Canada legit?
I have had no issues with any of the canadian suppliers so far so its really down to the price. I wait for black friday/ boxing day discounts, since my insurance yearly allowance for supplies is limited to only $300. Amazon.ca generally has the best prices for mask and heated hoses. Sunlife has been ok with Amazon expenses.Coljoy wrote: ↑Tue Aug 16, 2022 2:39 pmYes, I’m a new user and I research everything to death but in my wildest dreams I never contemplated that finding parts would be so complicated. Re: Is Your CPAP Store Canada legit?
I’m in Toronto and rented a ResMed AirSense Auto CPAP 10 from a retailer in the L.A. area through kwipped.com. Of course the brain dead Canadian government is making getting it into Canada as complicated and expensive as possible, ($130 U.S. import fees + 45 shipping), but I have the option of applying 100% of my rental cost to the purchase of the unit at $1050 U.S.. They’re shipping the unit out tomorrow, hopefully, (fingers crossed). I’ll post the name of the retailer as soon as I have the unit in hand, as I don’t want to cause waves before then.
