Mouth Leak Solved
Mouth Leak Solved
I have tried "everything" so solve my mouth leak. Some worked pretty good. I never was completely thrilled with any of them. Then I saw the video by Lefty Lanky on the Cover-Roll 2 inch tape roll. I had tried other tape with little success.
I was skeptical but went on and got a roll.
Man alive! It has been 100% the last 4 nights for me. It may crash and burn by next week but it is awesome. No more dry leather mouth. Now, it is a little painful when you remove it in the morning. You definitely can tell it was stuck on.
You may want to dog ear a corner as this stuff adheres like you want believe.
If you have tried everything else, give this tape a try.

Re: Mouth Leak Solved
One tip, don't pull straight out when removing tape. Peel it back. It's a good bit less painful. Something about the vector sum of the angle of forces multiplied by the inverse of the product of the distances from the nerve endings to the skin surfaces times the individual wimp index.
Re: Mouth Leak Solved
That tape is what I have been using as well. I have shortish facial hair and it still holds well. I use about 3.5 inches and cut the upper corners to save my tender cheeks. Gene

Re: Mouth Leak Solved
I've also been using that tape and it works a treat! I agree, peeling the tape off SLOWLY in the morning is key, I learned that the hard way...
Re: Mouth Leak Solved
I use a Full Face mask (AirFit F20i) and I still experience very bad dry mouth. Looking for a solution. Are you all using the tape with nasal masks … or can you also use tape with a full face mask?
Re: Mouth Leak Solved
if you look under genempls' post, he shows that he uses a full face mask.

I use tape under my F30i. It's a great system. https://www.amazon.com/Adhesive-Snoring ... 08SGGK82Z/
Re: Mouth Leak Solved
I use nasal pillows. It may work with full face mask. I just don’t know how it would seal???
That’s one thing I “love” about using the tape. You no longer need a full face mask.

I use pillows. I quit using full face once I got the tape. No benefit once I got my mouth to stay shut.

Re: Mouth Leak Solved
This has been a game changer for me. I could not handle the tape or a collar. For whatever reason I have zero problems with this. It's worth a try.ChicagoGranny wrote: ↑Thu Mar 02, 2023 7:26 pmI use tape under my F30i. It's a great system. https://www.amazon.com/Adhesive-Snoring ... 08SGGK82Z/
