Instead of using a nasal mask and taping our mouth, why not use an oral mask and use a swim nose clip and block the nose?
A little tongue in cheek but why not?

Some people do....you can take your tongue out of your cheek.

Re: oral only cpap mask
I tried it, NOPE, NOPE, NOPE! I slobbered all over my pillow, my nightgown, the floor when I got up. I have dry mouth, where did all the slobber come from? This mask turned on a faucet . I didn't sleep for three nights trying to use this thing. Fortunately, I bought it from Direct Medical and they gave me my money back. Try it, maybe you will like it. Me, never again!

Re: oral only cpap mask
Many years ago on here we had a member who used an oral mask exclusively (before Oracle) and she was more than satisfied. She had some facial structure features that the magnitude of any reconstruction made an oral mask her best option. Nice that there are so many mask options.
