Chinstrap recommendation for ResMed AirFit P30i nasal pillow mask

Post by paulgus » Fri Dec 08, 2023 1:41 pm

I current use a full face mask and am interested in trying out a ResMed AirFit P30i nasal pillow mask instead. Since I am sometime a mouth breather, I will need to use a chin strap.

What is a popular chinstrap that is comfortable and will work well with my AirFit P30i mask?

Chinstraps usually don't work. Try taping your lips.

Have a look at the knightsbridge. It might work if you put the cap on first and the P30i over the top of it. If you are a back sleeper, it may not work. The adjustment for head size is on the back of the cap which would leave a lump behind your head if you tightened the cap part. Happily for me, I don't need to adjust mine.

Just a thought. I have no personal experience with the P30i, only the knightsbridge.

Is this an endorsement or a word of caution against it?
