Dreamstation 1 setup

Post by moof » Tue Dec 26, 2023 1:38 pm

Hello
i have recently been diagnosed with severe sleep apnea.

I have been prescribed a dream station with the following : min 5 max 18

a few nights were really great and I felt relieved.

however, as it probably happened to many of you after a week or so, my sleep was again terrible.
I felt tired during the day.

Some adjustments were done and now : min 10 max 13 ramp 7

I still feel rough during the day. but like really.
not really sure what to do as my IAH is perfect.

the only thing I can see is the irregular breathing that happens quite a lot during the night, but is that even possible ?

thanks in advance for your help

First, do you really have a (Philips) Dreamstation 1? It's a recalled machine. Has yours been rebuilt by Philips?

Yes, it is possible, maybe even common. We can't tell you much more than that nor make recommendations without see a screen shot from OSCAR. Instructions for posting screenshots are in the links in my signature.

hello and thank you for your reply ChicagoGranny.

I did ask if the machine was one of the "redone" ones and she told me that yes it was.
Not sure how to check though.

here is my screen grab done using the fn F12 thing but I cannot attach it to the forum as it says the dashboard quota has been reached.

I felt terrible yesterday after this night
