Airsense 10 vs 11 Autoset CPAP machine

Post by Hannibal 2 » Sun Aug 11, 2024 2:58 am

My Airsense 10 is due for replacement, is the Airsense 11 worth the extra money? Are there any great new features or is it purely cosmetic?
TIA

I made the move last year, paid by insurance.

From what I understand, the AirSense 11 uses many of the less durable components form the AirMini.

The power connector is like the AirMini so any AirSense 10 power accessories will not work without a third party adapter.

To me, the humidifier tank looks like it may be less durable.,’’

If the AirSense 10 AutoSet is less expensive there is no need to move to the AirSense 11 AutoSet.

Thank you for your response. Yes the 10 is a little cheaper and I'm also going to buy a backup battery, which I believe would need an adaptor to use with the 11.

If it's mainly a cosmetic change then I'll probably go for another 10, which has served me well for 7 years but is now displaying a 'Motor Life Exceeded' message.

There really is no reason to go with the Air 11.

You have a ton of supplies and accessories that are Air 10 only.

Since releasing the Air 11, in the few years of the 11, it has received more complaints than the 10's 10 year history.
  • louder
  • lack of accessories
  • leaky hose attachment flaw
  • heating system errors
  • smaller tank, that goes through water faster
  • no swivel on the hose
  • SD card seating issues

Thank you very much, that's good to know.
My 10 has been a great machine for me, so I think I'll get another one. Glad I asked though.
