Air Pressure, help!!!

Post by Abracadabra » Sat Feb 21, 2026 6:39 am

How do I decrease pressure, back to the primary pressure from the machine's initial start setting, after having an apnea episode? Scenario: I have an episode. The pressure increases and then stays at that pressure blowing too hard and the mask leaks creating noise and squeaking. Keep in mind, that I'm in the middle of sleeping pattern ...disoriented, and don't want to wake up to look at a little view window to problem solve and remedy.

My solution, turn off the machine to rest the pressure, but then it happens again due to another apnea, and the cycle continues. Starting and stopping the machine is affecting my data on this and and the data presented to my pulmonologist.
Highly disappointing . Makes me remove my mask mid way through the night.

What specific machine are you using? Wat are your current pressure settings?
