New Mask from ResMed called the Mirage Micro

Post by Pad A Cheek » Thu Jan 31, 2008 1:03 pm

Hello

This looks like a new attempt on ResMed's part to fit more of our faces. Those small faced people may find this is just the ticket. I do not know.

I just found out about it myself, but have not seen it in person.

Thanks, Pad. It still looks like so much "more" compared to my Simplicity but then almost all masks look like so much "more" than the Simplicity.

On the other hand, if and when I do have to go in for another titration I will probably ask to try the Mirage Micro. I wonder what Mask Setting is recommended for the Micro on the Resmed xPAPs.

Thanks for the information Karen, this looks very interesting-maybe even promising.
To me, it looks like a combination between Quattro,UMFF and Activa. Looks a lot smaller than the Activa with a cushion like UMFF nasal mask frame like the Quattro FF. If it has a seal as good as Activa it will be a wonderful solution to a lot of mask fitting problems

Any idea when this is going to become available? I always liked the Activa, but it was just too big. Cost? etc.?

M.

I looked on several sites for this mask and couldnt find it or any mention of it, Where were you able to see it Karen besides the Resmed site? I was just trying to find out more about it, like Minerva said-cost and availability.
