For those of you who have used both the original and the newer Opus nasal pillows, have you found the differences to be significant? I've read about the new features on cpap.com's web site, but would like to know what users of both masks think of the "real world" differences, if any.

I have the older style 4 something. From just looking and reading on Opus. I cannot even see what difference there is. If you know what it is, I would be interested in knowing. I thought I had the newer ones until I turned in the trial pair and was given a pair to keep and saw the number on the box was not the 360. So I have no clue.
I have both the original Opus and the new 360. I tried the 360, but the headgear is slightly different, and I had more leaks, so I've reverted to the original Opus, but with the new pillows. The differences, as far as I can tell:
1. The lower strap of the headgear rides higher on the back of my head. The fit is somewhat like the Swift headgear, or perhaps somewhere in between the Swift and the original Opus.
2. On the pillows, the two pillows are slightly closer together in the new format, but they no longer have a little triangle to align them in the mask. I used the Medium size in the old pillows (with an o-ring drawing them closer together), but now use the small with no o-ring needed.
3. The mask used to have a gray colored tab that attached the headgear to the ring that holds the pillows (it falls off sometimes....) The new version doesn't come apart at all, which is good.

Sarah, are the 360 pillows a little bigger than the original ones (you said you're using the new smalls, rather than the old mediums)? I'm currently using the large (old) pillows, but need just a bit of Mack's ear plugs to get a better seal.

I suppose they are slightly larger, but what makes them fit me differently is that they are closer to one another. I had been using both the medium and the smalls, with an o-ring to draw the pillows together, but the medium fit better, and now the new mediums are too big, so yes, the new ones must be a touch larger.
